New York Loves Me

(Click On The Fishies To Give Them A Treat)

Let us, at least, have pity on each other, mountain cherry tree,

for other than your flowers, there is no one who knows me.

-*- This is a blog dedicated to finding my New York. This will be done by exploring the city and documenting every moment of it. Enjoy the city through my thoughts. Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Our streets are made of gold.

Video games, prisons, food, Manhattan, opera, cats. What I love best, little Lottie said, is when I’m asleep in my bed, and the Angel of Music sings songs in my head. I only get worse from here.

“His words are quiet like stains are, on a tablecloth washed in a river. Stains that are trying to cover for each other, or at least blend in with the pattern. Good is better than perfect – scrub till your fingers are bleeding, and I’m crying for things that I tell others to do without crying.”

-*- When I was seventeen, I walked into the jungle. And when I was twenty-one, I walked out. And by God, I was rich.
